Personal Blog #3

Okay, hello everybody, “Personal Blog #3” here.  Gotta lit bit to tell you as we round out this gorgeous Easter Sunday.

First, I was awoken on this day, by my aunt texting my phone.  She was texting me to tell me she dropped my mom’s gift off and left it outside.  My mom knew it was coming, so she knew to get the gift at the time.  So, by the time my aunt texted me, my mom had already woken me up to tell me the gift was in the house.  Well, after that text, and one from Angelica, I couldn’t get back to sleep.  I was up.  It was 10:41 on a Sunday morning.  I haven’t been up that early on a Sunday in a long, long time.  I wanted to get clothes so I could shower for Easter morning, but mom usually makes a big deal about not going downstairs on holiday mornings.  So, as soon as I got up, she went to the bathroom (took forever) so I could go get clothes.  Then she comes out to tell me that I didn’t have to wait.  Now I’m really pissed!

So, I get dressed and everything, everything is all good.  I go downstairs, eat a little breakfast, watch a little television (recorded on of my favorite episodes of “The George Lopez Show”) and just relaxed.  Not for long.  Mom begins flipping, so we’re yelling and everything.  It’s not even noon on Easter Sunday and we’re already fighting.

Then, Tommy comes over and we’re gonna eat.  Ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, it’s all amazing!  Good old time, watch television, chat, overall, good time.  Then they leave to go to his sisters house, and I stay home.  House to myself.  It was nice.  I talked to Teala, and we really talked, and I liked it.  Then, I called my dad to wish him a “Happy Easter” on his machine except he answers the phone.  We then proceeded to talk for almost two hours.  And that’s always nice, he gave me a virtual tour of his town through Google Maps (which he didn’t know existed), and it was overall nice.  We don’t talk much, not much communication at all.  When he was here, we argued all the time, now when we talk it’s easier.  I guess a couple states distance will do that to a father and son.

I do have a little more information to share.  Today I met a new friend, “across the pond” as they say (now she’ll never talk to me again), on Twitter.  She read my blog and responded to me on there, now we chat.  See people, it is possible.  She’s really nice, a little off, but who isn’t?  Her name is Gemma, shout out to her!

I also got up to 2,000 Tweets on Twitter.  You should’ve heard me attempting to explain Twitter to my dad.  I spent about 15-20 minutes explaining both Twitter and texting to him.  He doesn’t seem to understand either.  I laugh at that.  Not much else to say.  Because of the talk with my dad, I didn’t get certain things done that I wanted to.  I wanted to write more on my script, do a little “Star Gazing” reporting.  I still promise to have those television reviews up by tomorrow night.  I also promise more “Star Gazing” news tomorrow, and maybe a “Nebula Newsbite” or two tonight.  Who knows?  Well, that just about wraps everything up here.  Talk to you more later or tomorrow, and until then, I’m Paul, and that’s all.
