Hello all. I got at least one piece of feedback on my review I posted earlier, and thanks to all who read it. I do have to admit, I apparently partially lied and I apologize. My second review will be up tomorrow as I got caught up in my own personal stuff after watching “Parks”. I’m sorry. This is my fourth personal blog, and I was wondering what to put since a lot happened yesterday and not much happened today. But, I did post a subheading as you can see, the reasons for which I’ll explain.
Well, I woke up to my room being ultra-hot this morning. I went downstairs, got some clothes and went for a shower and by the time I came downstairs it was about noon. Already I’m doing better than yesterday. Well, I got oatmeal with little apple chunks score! As I was watching, I finally got caught up on the final three episodes of the first season of “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”, and it was actually pretty good, I’m glad it’s coming back for a second season.
It was during this that they were talking about epidurals, which, for those of you who don’t know, is a needle in your spine, most women giving birth have to relieve pain. I personally know someone who got one and her back has been screwed up ever since. I can never understand why someone would want to get a needle in their spine. I understand childbirth has been said to be the ultimate pain, but still, a needle in your spine? Things about the spine just flat out scare me. In my opinion, besides the brain, the spine is one of the most fragile parts of the body. If it breaks, you could basically not move half your body or your entire body. That very much scares me! I was talking with my mom about it and I made mention that, on LOST (one of my favorite shows) I’ve seen a spinal surgery and it was very disgusting and disturbing in my mind. I’m the guy who can sit through all the “Saw” films, watch bones snapping, a drill going through a skull, exposed brain, etc., yet spines freak me out.
I then began to think about how eyeballs freak me out too. I’ve never been one for eyeballs. My mom has contacts, and I’ve never been able to watch her put them in. That’s one reason I’ll always have glasses. I couldn’t even watch Jimmy Fallon get eye surgery, one of his only video blogs I didn’t watch in preparation for his taking over ‘Late Night’. I’m just not big on spines and eyeballs!
Well, after all that, I watched “Parks and Recreation” and wrote my review. Then I began watching “Pineapple Express” and still haven’t finished it! I also had brinner, which I’ve been waiting for, for a while! (For those of you that don’t know what ‘brinner’ is, it’s breakfast for dinner.)
Now, there’s not much else going on. I feel like I’ve wasted my entire long break. I have one more day left. I don’t have much else to say for this blog so I think I’m done. I’ll most likely post a “Star Gazing” report later tonight, and my second review will be up tomorrow. So, until then, I’m Paul, and that’s all.
